2022 was the record year in France for the Bilan de Compétences with almost 100 000 requests made on the MonCompteFormation platform. Before thinking about the choice of the Bilan de Compétences center, a crucial question arises each time: how to finance one's Bilan de Compétences? We tell you everything just below.

Generally speaking, a private sector employee who has worked full time during one year will have his or her CPF balance credited with 500⏠the following year (for civil servants, the CPF is credited in hours, i.e. 24 hours). For your information, the CPF is credited between April 15 and June 20 of the year following the period worked.
Ps : be careful, there are differences according to the status (more information : here).
If the balance available on your CPF is sufficient to pay for the Bilan de Compétences, all you have to do is log on to MonCompteFormation with France Connect, search for the Centre de Bilan de Compétences that suits you and register by following the different steps. By indicating at the beginning of the process that you wish to use your CPF balance, you will not have to add anything by your own means.

1ïžâŁ In the case where your CPF balance only covers part of the cost of the Bilan de CompĂ©tences, you have the possibility of financing the "Remainder to Pay" by your own means (via credit card in this case) in one go. The balance is to be paid after validation of the registration to the Bilan de CompĂ©tences by the organization.
2ïžâŁ The beneficiary also has the right to mobilize additional funding (more information: here). These include:

As an employee, you can ask your employer to co-finance your Bilan de Compétences. This approach is part of the Skills Development Plan and is carried out between the company and the employee and must be requested.

If your CPF balance is insufficient and you wish to access a Bilan de Compétences as soon as possible, you have the possibility of paying directly and entirely for the course on MonCompteFormation. This payment is made before the Bilan de Compétences, in one go, and by credit card.
